Cooperative parking
2022 — Concept
Russia
The cooperative garage is conceived as a modular, expandable framework that rethinks car storage as a shared urban resource. Built from a family of uniform “tin-can” inspired modules, the structure allows simple repetition and clear assembly logic, while offering a wide range of uses—from standard parking bays to workshops, studios, and small commercial units.
The program is organized as a flexible mix of private boxes and shared infrastructures: circulation, loading, utilities, and common amenities are designed to support changing scenarios over time. As demand shifts, parking modules can be converted into workspaces or retail, gradually activating the ground level and turning the building into a productive public interface. Through this adaptability, the garage can evolve from a storage facility into a neighborhood center, combining mobility, making, and local commerce within one coherent architectural system.
